WiFi Internet HotSpots blanket the City of Kankakee, IL

 

The City of Kankakee is leading the way using technology to bring WiFi Hotspots that will cover many areas of the city.  The service was designed to attract businesses and vistors to the area by offering an innovative free service that provides WiFi Hotspots to connect to the internet anytime you are in the coverage area.

Visit  http://www.wifikankakee.com/ to request a free account that allows 15 hours of free internet each month.

Hi Brian, Nice widgets! I was in Toronto last week and they pretty much are blanketed (downtown) with WiFi.  My cousin has one of those new apple phones and it was really cool watching it work. - Sash

Jim, that would be great since Cape Coral/Fort Myers area is one of our favorite getaways.  I would be one of the tourists using it when we are down there!
